1. Mata Gayatri is also called Vedmata. All four Vedas are safe in her hands. She is  a Vedagya. Maa Gayatri's vehicle( vahan) is a white swan. The Vedas are adorned in her hands. Also, there is a lotus in her  other hand.

2. Gayatri Mantra and Gayatri stanza have been composed in her name. She is the presiding deity of the Gayatri Mantra.

3. It is believed that Brahma had 5 wives - Savitri, Gayatri, Shraddha, Medha and Saraswati. In this, Savitri and Saraswati are mentioned in most places that they were his wives but the rest of the two devi’s are not mentioned anywere clearly.

4. It is believed that during the yagya at Pushkar, Brahma performed the yagya by marrying the scholar Gayatri, the scholar of the Vedas, in the absence of Savitri. This Gayatri was probably not his daughter. Due to this, Savitri was angry and cursed Brahma for not being worshiped in the world, although even this is not clear in the Puranas.

5. Gayatri Mata is considered one of the five forms of Adyashakti Prakriti. It is said that at some time she was born as Savita's daughter, so she was also named Savitri. At some places, different forms of Savitri and Gayatri are also described. Lord Surya had dedicated him to Brahmaji, due to which he also got a name Brahmani.

6.According to another belief of the Puranas, a lotus originated from the navel of God and lord Brahma was born from lotus. Savitri got married to Brahmaji. The four Vedas were born by the combination of Brahma and Savitri. All kinds of knowledge originated from the Vedas. After this, Brahma created the five physical creation. He created two types of creation, one being Chaitanya and the other root. Brahma has two arms called sankalpa and atomic power. Conscious power is the daughter of Brahma due to the realization of consciousness, and the nuclear power is Brahma's wife, because it is grossly functional and at all possible. Thus Gayatri and Savitri became famous by the name of Brahma's daughter and wife.
