Pitra Paksha 2022: When will Pitra Paksha start, know important dates, rules and remedies

Mythological stories are also found, in Valmiki Ramayana, there is a reference to Dasharatha's soul getting salvation by giving Pind Daan by Mother Sita.During their exile, Lord Rama, Laxman and Goddess Sita went to Gaya Dham to perform Shradh during Pitra Paksha. Similarly, Markandeya  has said about the ancestors in the Vayu Purana that under any circumstances a person should not deviate from the Shradh of the ancestors. But it has also been emphasized that according to the capacity, the person should perform the Shradh of the ancestors. When will Pitra Paksha start
This year Pitra Paksha starts from Saturday, 10 September 2022 and ends on Sunday, 25 September 2022. On this date, if there are deceased people related to the family, then their Shradh and Tarpan are performed on the date of the deceased person. So that his soul may attain peace and salvation.The time from the full moon of Bhadrapada month to the new moon of Ashwin month is the time of Pitra Paksha

Important rules related to paternity
According to Hindu beliefs, no auspicious work should be done during Pitru Paksha. In Pitru Paksha, there is a law to do Pind Daan, Tarpan etc. only for the ancestors. During Pitru Paksha, tamasic things should not be consumed even by forgetting. On the date of a deceased person related to the family, invite a Brahmin to the house with respect and serve him satvik food.
Along with this, according to your capacity, send the Brahmin away with full respect by giving donations and dakshina. Keep in mind one more thing that when donating in the name of ancestors, then do not keep any kind of importance at that time.
