Nirjala Ekadashi: Its significance, Shubh Mahurat, Fasting Rules

Ekadashi Tithi has very much significance in Hinduism, it falls twice every month. One in Krishna Paksha and one in Shukla Paksha. There is a total of 24 Ekadashis in a year. This one is falling in the Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month which is known as Nirjala Ekadashi. This Ekadashi is one of the best among all the 24 Ekadashis. By doing this fast of Nirjala Ekadashi, one gets the same result as by observing the Ekadashi fast for a year. This year, this Ekadashi fast will be observed on June 21, 2021. As per the religious beliefs, everyone should keep this fast, also There is a rule in this fast which is very significant to follow.

As per the scriptures, a person must this fast of Nirjala Ekadashi in his lifetime. this fast is also known as Pandava Ekadashi. It is believed that this fast was kept by Bhimsen during the Mahabharata period and he attained heaven. by observing this Ekadashi fast one can gain salvation. with this, all the wishes of the devotees are fulfilled.
