On the evening of Chaitra Purnima, take a ritual bath and wear clean clothes.
Perform proper rituals and worship of Lord Vishnu, and prepare a Thali for the Aarti dedicated to Lord Chandra. For offering Arghya, use a silver or copper vessel, as a silver vessel is considered more auspicious.
Fill the vessel with water and add raw milk, akshat, white flowers, and sandalwood.
Stand facing the Moon and offer the Arghya to it. Chant the mantra of the Moon and make your wishes.
