
According to the Hindu Panchag, a total of four Navratris are celebrated in a year, but two of them are considered 'Gupta Navratri'. During Chaitra Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri, Goddess Durga is worshipped, and devotees perform special rituals during the nine days of Navratri. Every year, Chaitra Navratri begins on the Pratipada tithi of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Chaitra and lasts for nine days. This year, Chaitra Navratri will begin on 19th March and end on 27th March 2026. On the first day, Goddess Shailputri is worshipped, on the second day, Goddess Brahmacharini, on the third day, Goddess Chandraghanta.
