Shri Gyan Saraswati Temple of Andhra Pradesh
According to the scriptures, after the ceasefire of the Mahabharata, Vedvyas performed penance to Goddess Saraswati in this place. She was pleased and goddess Saraswati appeared to give darshan. On the orders of the goddess, she took three handfuls of sand in three places, the miracle form of Sandra turned into Saraswati, Lakshmi and Kali statues. Even today, the three goddesses sit here and benefit their devotees. People come here from all corners of India to visit. On the day of Basant Panchami, Darshan is of particular importance here. It is said that the darkness of ignorance is erased by her vision.

Mookambika temple, Kerala
The famous temple of Kerala, known as Dakshin Mookambika, is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati. Located in the Ernakulam district, the temple houses a statue of Lord Ganesha, Vishnu, Hanuman and Yakshi besides the main Goddess Saraswati. According to legend, The King was a devotee of Goddess Mookambika and used to visit the Kollur temple in Mangalore every year. When the King became old, he started having trouble going to the temple every year. Seeing the devotion of the devotee's faith, goddess Mukambika came in the King's dream and asked the king to build her temple and visit him here. The idol of Goddess Saraswati is seated facing east. The 10-day celebration in the temple is celebrated in January and February. The vidyarambh Utsav is celebrated with great pomp in which the vidyarambh Sanskar is performed for the children.

Sharadamba Temple, Sringeri, Karnataka
The first of the four monasteries founded by Adi guru Shankaracharya is the  Sharda peeth which was founded in the eighth century. This bench is known as the Sharadamba Temple. The temple had a statue of Goddess Saraswati made of sandalwood which was first installed by Adi guru Shankaracharya. The statue was replaced in the 14th century and replaced with a gold statue. Apart from Saraswati Devi, there is also a Shivalinga of Crystal which is said to have been given to Shankaracharya by Lord Shiva himself. On the day of Magh Shukla Saptami i.e. Basant Panchami Saraswati Puja, the mother is worshipped magnificently here. Special puja is also held on Navratri and many other occasions

The Fair of Saraswati Mata is held every year on Basant Panchami at Bhojshala in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh. Maa Saraswati is specially worshipped on this day at this place. This temple is a unique symbol of Vastu craft. According to the Puranas, King Bhoj was a devotee of Saraswati Mata. The worship of Saraswati was of particular importance during his period.
