When we should buy a new broom – According to Vastu Shastra, it is auspicious to use the new broom on Saturday as it brings luck. Also if you want to buy a new broom then Krushna paksha is the good time to do so as Goddess Lakshmi blesses us. Whereas, Saturday and Tuesday are the best days to buy a new broom.
When we should not use a broom – It is considered inauspicious to use a broom in the evening. If for any reason you have to sweep at night, then you can take some measures for that. In such a situation, you should not throw the garbage outside the house with a broom, put that garbage in the dustbin inside the house. It is believed that by throwing out the soil of the house after sunset, Goddess Lakshmi goes out of the house and poverty can reside in the house.
Where to keep the broom – Always have a reserved place to keep the broom bit make sure that it is not close to your money or vault. It is said that if we keep the broom with these things that we will incur losses in business. Always keep the broom hidden from other people. for e.g. Under the bed or cupboard.
Never keep the broom standing – Never keep the broom standing, it should always be laid down horizontally on the ground. Keeping the broom horizontal will always bring more luck and money for you.

Never touch the broom with your feet – The broom is given equal status as that of Goddess Lakshmi. Touching it with the feet is equal to disrespecting Mata Lakshmi which can bring the financial crisis to you.
When to throw away an old broom – As broom is considered equal to Goddess Lakshmi, it is inauspicious to throw it away on Thursdays and Fridays. Thursday is considered Lord Narayan’s day and Friday is Goddess Lakshmi’s day. If you do such a thing then God will get angry at you.

Always buy three brooms together. It is considered auspicious to buy 3 brooms together. It is said that if you keep these three brooms in a temple without letting anyone know about it all your wishes will get fulfilled. It is an old age trick
