Bhadrapada can be said to be the month of fasting to achieve noble results and blessings of God. This month teaches one to fast and follow the rules with diligence and pure intentions. Rules and Caution of this Month
One should refrain from eating anything that is uncooked. Using curd in any form is totally forbidden. There are chances of an increase in Blood Pressure, so one should be very careful about their eating habits. To avoid laziness, take a bath in cold water twice a day. It could prove to be fruitful to offer “Tulsi Leaves'' to Lord Krishna and to drink tea or milk with Tulsi leaves in it.

Festival of Lord Ganesha like Ganesha Chaturthi is also celebrated in this very month. The 
Month, in addition, marks the birth celebration of Lord Krishna, Radha, and Balram. The auspicious month brings the “Hartalika Teej” which is for married women’s good luck and longevity of their husbands. Though the use of curd is strictly forbidden in this month, however, bathing Lord Krishna with “Panchamrit '' in this whole month can fulfill every desire of His devotees. Reading “Bhagavad Gita” can prove to be very beneficial for people who lack self-confidence, as it would boost their self-confidence like never before.
