 Your every wish will be fulfilled, Navratri has started from 26 September.  Like every time, this time too Navratri is celebrated all over the country.  In such a auspicious occasion, today we will tell you about those temples of Delhi, where you can go to see the mother and get your wishes fulfilled. 

 One of the most prominent festivals in India, the colors of the season of Navratri are going to rock the country.  As the days are getting closer, the preparations for the festivals have started.  Shopkeepers have also started setting up shops for essential items of worship.  Navratri, as the name says-nine nights, is the time when devotees observe a fast for nine days and celebrate the welcome of Goddess Durga.  It is celebrated in many temples across the country.  Today we will tell you about those major temples of Delhi.

 Chhatarpur Temple

 This place needs no introduction.  This famous temple of South Delhi is in Chhatarpur.  Devotees keep visiting this temple all the time, but during Navratri, the beauty of this temple remains different.  Its amazing architecture attracts the tourists.  The main temple here is dedicated to Goddess Katyayani and is said to open exclusively during Navratri.  In this festive season, you can come to this temple to pay obeisance to the mother.

 Jhandewala Temple

 Adorned with lights, there is a special celebration of Navratri in this temple.  Special rituals and pujas are performed during this time.  Add this to your list and devotees can seek the blessings of Maa Adi Shakti here.  How the temple got its name is an interesting story.  It is believed that during the reign of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, this temple was named after and flags were raised here as a form of prayer during that time, hence the name Jhandewalan.

 Kalka Ji temple

 One of the oldest temples in Delhi, Kalka Temple is dedicated to Goddess Kali.  According to local traditions, it is considered as Manokamna Siddha Peeth or Jayanti Peeth.  This temple was built around 1764 AD.  Devotees believe that during Navratri, Maa Kali fulfills the wishes and prayers of her devotees.

 Shri Sheetla Mata Mandir 

Shri Sheetla Mata Mandir is one of the most popular and big temples in Delhi-NCR.  This place comes alive during the festival of Navratri.  The visiting devotees are not allowed to touch the idol of Mata Sheetla Devi, they can offer prayers here only by offering fruits. They can pray here only by offering flowers.

 Kali Mandir

 Chittaranjan Park is commonly known as CR Park.  The famous temple located here is the home of Goddess Kali.  Maa Kali is considered one of the incarnations of Maa Durga and is particularly revered in the Bengali community.

 cave temple

 The cave temple is located in the Preet Vihar area of Delhi.  It is one of the oldest temples and is dedicated to Mata Vaishno Devi.  It is known for a large cave inside the temple which gives the feeling of being in a Vaishno Devi temple.  There is another small cave in it.  The main attraction of the cave are the idols of Goddess Katyayani, Chintpurni and Jwala Devi.  This temple attracts a lot of devotees during Navratri.
