Know the scientific and religious reasons for solar and lunar eclipse
Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse take place every year. Eclipse is not considered religiously auspicious. Astrologer Dr. Arvind Mishra says that it is religiously believed that during the eclipse, the Sun or the Moon is in a troubled state and becomes weak. Therefore, this situation also has an adverse effect on the general public and is considered inauspicious.

Whereas from a scientific point of view, any eclipse is seen as an astronomical event. The lunar eclipse is going to happen once again on Friday, November 19 which is also the last lunar eclipse of 2021. On this occasion, know both the beliefs on eclipse :

This is the belief from religious point of view

There is a belief of Rahu, Moon and Sun regarding the eclipse.  According to this belief, after the churning of the ocean, when there was a dispute between the gods and the demons regarding drinking nectar, Lord Vishnu came in the form of Mohini and took the nectar urn in his hand.  He asked everyone in turn to drink the nectar.  Seeing Mohini, all the demons were fascinated, so they obeyed Mohini and quietly sat separately.  Mohini first started drinking nectar to the deities.  Meanwhile, a demon named Swarbhanu sensed the move of Mohini and sat quietly among the gods.
By deceit, Mohini gave him Amritpaan.  But then the Moon and the Sun sitting in the line of the deities saw him and told Lord Vishnu.  Enraged, Lord Vishnu severed the demon's throat with the Sudarshan Chakra.  But that demon had drank a few sips of nectar by then, so even after slitting his throat, he did not die.  The head part of that demon was called Rahu and the torso part was called Ketu.  Rahu and Ketu considered the Sun and Moon to be responsible for this condition of their own body, so Rahu eclipses the Sun and Moon every year on full moon and new moon days.  It is called solar eclipse and lunar eclipse.  Since our gods are in trouble at the time of Grass and are trying to escape, this event is considered inauspicious.

Scientifically it is important

Scientifically, a solar eclipse or a lunar eclipse is nothing more than an astronomical event.  Actually the Earth revolves around the Sun and the Moon revolves around the Earth.  While revolving, there comes a time when the Earth, the Sun and the Moon are all in one line. When the Earth is between the Moon and the Sun, the Sun's light does not reach the Moon and it is called a lunar eclipse.  But when the Moon comes between the Sun and the Earth, then the light of the Sun does not reach the Earth, it is called a solar eclipse.
