Know all about the Seven Chakras of the body from Sadhguru

Let us understand what are these cycles or chakras. There are a total of 114 chakras in the human body. Although there are more chakras in the body than this, but these 114 chakras are the main ones. You can call them the confluence or meeting places of the nadis. These confluences are always in the shape of a triangle. As we know that 'Chakra' means wheel or circular. Since it is related to the movement of the body from one dimension to another, it is called a circle, but it is actually a triangle.

Now the question arises what do these chakras do in this body system. Basically, there are only seven chakras – Muladhara, Swadhisthana, Manipuraka, Anahata, Vishuddhi, Ajna and Sahasrara. The first chakra is the Muladhara, which is between the anus and the genitals, the Swadhishthana chakra is located just above the genitals. The Manipurak Chakra is located below the navel. The Anahata Chakra is located just below the place where the ribs meet in the heart. The Vishuddhi Chakra is located in the pit of the throat. Ajna Chakra is between the temples. Whereas the Sahasrara Chakra, also known as the Brahmandra, occurs at the top of the head, where the top of a newborn baby's head is the softest place.

1. Muladhara Chakra

The Muladhara chakra, which craves food and sleep, can also completely free you from these things if you have created awareness in the right way.
We can call chakras as upper and lower chakras, but the use of such language often leads to misunderstanding. It is like comparing the foundation and roof of a building. The roof is never more important than the foundation. The foundation of any building is its main base, not the roof. The strength of the building and how durable it will be, it all depends on its foundation and not the roof. But when we talk, we say that the roof is above and the foundation is below.

One dimension of the chakras is their physical existence, but they also have a spiritual dimension. This means that they can be completely transformed.

2. Swadhisthana Chakra

The second chakra is Swadhisthana. If your energy is active in Swadhisthana, then your life will be dominated by merriment. You will try to enjoy material pleasures to the fullest. You will enjoy everything in life.

3.Manipura Chakra

If your energy is active in Manipurak, then you will be a karma yogi. You will be ready to do all kinds of work in the world. There is nothing that you cannot try to accomplish.

4.Anahata Chakra

If your energy is active in Anahata, you will be a creative person. Your powers lies in creativity and imagination. There is nothing to stop the limitless mind.

5. Vishuddhi Chakra

6. Ajna Chakra

If your energy is active in Ajna, or you have reached Ajna, it means that you have achieved accomplishment on an intellectual level. Intellectual accomplishment gives you peace. In your experience it may not be real, but the intellectual achievement you have achieved brings you a stillness and calmness. No matter what is happening around you, or whatever the circumstances are, it doesn't matter.

7.Sahasrara Chakra

Once the energy of man reaches the Sahasrara, he swings with an ultimate bliss. If you jump in bliss for no reason, it means that your energy has reached that peak.
