Sawan Monday
- On the auspicious occasion of Monday of Sawan, Panchamrit Abhishek and Maharudrabhishek are being organized in the ancient Gauri Kedareshwar Mahadev Temple of Kashi. Doing this special ritual is believed to bring the blessings of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, which increases the chances of happiness, prosperity, good health, longevity, and early marriage in life.
Panchamrit Abhishek
- An abhishek is performed with milk, curd, ghee, honey, and sugar. These five elements bring happiness and prosperity in life. Performing the Panchamrit Abhishek on the Shivaling pleases Lord Shiva and removes negativity from the life of the devotees. Especially on the day of Sawan Monday, its results are considered to be manifold.
Maharudrabhishek
- Maharudrabhishek is considered one of the most impressive Vedic rituals of Lord Shiva. In this, Lord Shiva is anointed with Rudrasukta and Vedic mantras. The scriptures describe that performing Maharudra Abhishek frees one from planetary defects, the fear of sudden death, and protection from diseases and obstacles, and the major obstacles in life start getting eliminated.
