On the Navami Tithi in Pitru Paksha, a special ritual of Matri Navami Shraddh is being organized by Myjyotisj on the banks of the Ganga River in Haridwar. According to the scriptures, the date of Matri Navami is dedicated to the late mother, grandmother, mother-in-law, and all the female ancestors (ancestors) on the maternal side. Shraddh and Tarpan performed on this day are considered to liberate one from maternal debt and bring happiness and peace in the family.
