Maha Shivaratri is the most sacred night dedicated to Lord Shiva, when the God of Gods, Mahadev himself, bestows special blessings upon his devotees. Performing the Rudri Path and the 4 Prahar Mahabhishek on this divine occasion is considered an effective way to quickly receive Shiva's blessing.
The Rudri Path involves the worship of both the fierce and compassionate forms of Lord Shiva. This Jaap is highly beneficial for the removal of negative energies, planetary afflictions, and all of life's troubles. Its effects pacify all planetary defects, protect against untimely death, disease, and fear. Additionally, it brings happiness, peace, and stability to life while allowing devotees to receive the special grace of Shiva.
- Importance of the 4 Prahar Mahabhishek
The night of Maha Shivaratri is divided into four Prahar. Performing the Abhishek of Lord Shiva with different substances during each Prahar is considered extremely auspicious. This practice helps devotees stay awake throughout the night and connect with the essence of Shiva.
