Puja Rituals for Parshuram Jayanti
On Parashuram Jayanti, Lord Parashurama is specifically worshipped during the Brahma Muhurat or during the auspicious timings of Akshaya Tritiya. The day marks the birth anniversary of Lord Parashuram, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. On this day, one should wake up early in the morning, take a bath, and wear clean clothes. Clean the home temple or place of worship, and then take a pledge (Sankalp) to observe the fast.
Spread a red or yellow cloth over a clean wooden stool and place an idol or image of Lord Parashuram on it. Light a diya with pure ghee or sesame oil, and should also chant the mantra, "Om Hreem Parashuramaya Namah."
Offerings (Bhog) of bananas, coconuts, jaggery, and seasonal fruits are considered auspicious. Worshipping Lord Parashuram is believed to remove fear and bestow courage and strength upon the devotee.
