Mata Kushmanda, the fourth form of the mother, is worshiped on the fourth day of Navratri. According to religious beliefs, it was Mother Kushmanda who created the universe. He is considered to be the original form of creation, the Adi Shakti. Maa Kushmanda lives in the inner world of the solar system. The radiance of the mother's body is similar to that of the sun and all directions are being illuminated by her radiance and light. Maa Kushmanda has eight arms. Mother is also known as Ashtabhuja Devi. In her seven hands, she has kamandala, bow, arrow, lotus-flower, nectar-filled urn, chakra, and mace are held. On the eighth hand, there is a japamala. Mother rides a lion.

• After this, offer halwa and curd to Mother Kushmanda. You can then take it as prasad.
• Take maximum care of the mother goddess.
• At the end of the puja, perform the aarti of the goddess.
