The Ekadashi that falls during the Shukla Paksha of the Chaitra is called Kamada Ekadashi. It is believed that observing a fast on this Ekadashi makes one free from all the sins, grants liberation from the Pishacha Yoni (spirits/ghosts), and leads to the attainment of Moksha (salvation). This year, the Pratipada tithi of the Shukla Paksha of Chaitra Navratri will begin at 8:45 AM on 28 March and end at 7:46 AM on 29 March. There, the fast will be observed on 29 March, and the Parana will be done on 30 March. The time for breaking the fast will be from 6:13 AM to 7:09 AM. Those, who wish to attain salvation through the grace of Lord Vishnu, can perform charity according to their zodiac sign on this auspicious occasion. Click here to read in Hindi.
